It’s almost Memorial Weekend, which means that summer is just around the corner. That means cold, refreshing drinks are essential. And, since it’s summer and we all want to be carefree, they need to be easy as well.
Enter this refreshing rosemary orange ice tea. We’re keeping it easy by using bottled ice tea from the grocery store and combining it with oranges, lemon and rosemary.

After giving the tea some time to soak up all that flavor, the result is an ice tea that tastes amazing and is sure to quench your thirst. I suggest letting the tea sit for at least 4 hours to really let that citrus and herby rosemary flavor infuse into the tea.
Once the tea is ready, pour it over a big glass of ice. If you want to be really fancy, garnish it with an orange slice and a sprig of rosemary. It’s guaranteed that you will want to spend hours sitting on your deck sipping ice cold glass after ice cold glass.
I personally don’t care for drinks that are overly sweet, so I opted to use unsweetened ice tea. The oranges give the tea a slightly sweet flavor, which is perfect if you don’t like your drinks too sweet. But, if you like your tea sweet, feel free to use sweetened tea.
As far as the rosemary goes, please don’t skip it. It doesn’t overpower the tea at all. It just gives the tea a little extra somethin’ somethin’ in the background which makes it extra good.
So, let’s all welcome the summer season with a big pitcher of ice tea! Take it out on your porch and enjoy it with some small bites like these Pretzel Bites with Beer Cheese Dip, these super easy Chicken Taco Pinwheels.
