Homemade tartar sauce is so easy to make and it tastes so fresh and delicious, so much better than anything store bought! It literally takes about five minutes to make. All you do is stir some dill pickle relish, capers, lemon juice, parsley and dill into some mayo…..that’s it.
This tastes great with fried fish, but I think it would be equally tasty as a dressing for a tuna salad sandwich. Next time fish is on the menu, be sure to give this tartar sauce a try!
Easy Tartar Sauce
- 1/2 cup light mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp capers, coarsely chopped
- 1 tbsp dill pickle relish
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 tsp dried dill
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
In a small bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix until well incorporated.
Serve with Beer Battered Tilapia or your favorite seafood dish.
ENJOY!

The capers really made the sauce, Kimby, they gave it that little extra tang! :)
