I realized recently that my eating habits had really started to go downhill. Plus I wasn’t working out as much as I should be. So a couple of weeks ago I decided that things had to change. I had to back away from the french fries and get my butt into the gym at least four times a week.
Since then, I’ve managed to get to the gym regularly and I’ve been a lot more conscientious about what I’m eating. And the good news is, I’ve even lost a couple of pounds. This vanilla protein frappe has also been my go-to for breakfast. My daughter, Kelly, actually was the one to come up with this. She makes a lot of smoothies and one day she decided she wanted something with coffee flavor. The result was delicious!
It tastes just like a blended vanilla latte, but it’s packed with good-for-you protein. With only three ingredients, it’s also a snap to make. We just make a small cup of coffee in our Keurig, add the protein powder, almond milk, ice and blend it up to frothy perfection. It’s a great way to start the day and keeps you full until lunchtime.

ENJOY!
