Using Baked Potatoes to Make Grilled Potato Slices

These grilled potato slices are just what you need coming off of your grill this Summer. They’re so easy and tasty, super buttery and delicious and go with almost anything else from the grill.

They are a perfect side dish to compliment so many main dishes. From fancy au gratin or whipped potatoes to a simple baker loaded with sour cream and your favorite toppings.

INGREDIENTS

– russet potatoes – butter – garlic – salt – black pepper

Scrub potatoes and pierce all over with a fork, to allow steam to escape.

Microwave for 5 to 7 minutes until starting to get soft.

Let potatoes rest for about 15 minutes or so, until they’re cool enough to handle.
