Easy Chocolate Creme de Menthe Cake

This cake is definitely an oldie, but a goodie. It’s my Grandma’s recipe and she used to make it all the time. After she passed, I wanted to make this recipe, but thought it was lost.

But, one day while I was looking through old church cookbooks, I came across her recipe in a cookbook from her church. I am so happy to be able to share with you!

KEY INGREDIENTS

- Chocolate cake mix - Creme de menthe syrup - Jar of chocolate fudge topping - Tub of whipped topping (thawed) - Eggs

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat cake mix, eggs, water and cream de menthe together until well combined. Pour batter into a 9×13 pan that been coated with cooking spray. Bake according to package instructions.

Allow cake to cool completely. Heat fudge topping slightly until it is spreadable (about 30 seconds in the microwave). Spread on top of cake.
