I don’t usually make cookies, I like to eat them, but making them usually doesn’t interest me. So I really don’t know where these came from, I guess they were just meant to be. The other day I was looking through my pantry and found a bag of white chocolate chips. They were screaming at me, “make something”, but what? As I was looking at the cookie recipe on the bag, it came to me. I also had dried cherries and slivered almonds, what a perfect combo for a cookie! The dough is the basic recipe on the bag, but I changed up the mix-ins and I have to say….these cookies are heavenly!! They are sweet and crunchy and chewy, all in one cookie! I may have to put cookies on my baking rotation.

Oh, I’m so excited you’re going to try them, they are SO good. My daughters were home from college last night and so I sent the rest of them off with them and today my husband said, “why did you do that?” Well, he knows exactly why, we would have eaten them all!!
Wow, delicious!! We’re so glad you linked up to our “Strut Your Stuff Saturday”. We loved having you!! Please come back next Saturday and share more of your great recipes! -The Sisters
Fantastic combination of flavors for a cookie!
These really sound delicious! Thanks so much for linking up @ things That Make You Say Mmmmm!
Oh. my. stinkin’. word!! We’re eating these right now and they’re delicious!! I like to try new cookie recipes warm and cool, but it’s going to be hard not to eat them all before they cool down. The only change I made was to lightly grease the cookie sheet because we don’t have parchment paper. Thanks for linking these on Eat at Home.
That’s so great, Bethany! I’m glad to hear that you like them!!
